Highwire Coffee Roasters is in Rockridge Market Hall on College Avenue in Oakland, next to a market with wine, bread and seafood. It's busy, with seats inside and out and a sunny window bench. It's tight by the door, seating is limited and there's basically no wifi. It's near BART.

Cortados come in proper cortado cups. Try a flat white. The ham and cheese croissant sells out early. There are mochi donuts, hot chocolate and gluten-free options. Bauhaus is the everyday bag, and Conscientious Objector is the organic blend.
