The walk-in counter is small, no-frills, and runs on a tight outdoor seating space that fills up fast on summer weekends when the beach crowd works its way through town. Sister store to a Hudson Cafe location in Atlantic Highlands, which is the parent operation behind the brand.

The scones are the food. A Nutella strawberry version and a vanilla bean version get named by name, and on busy mornings walk-in customers compete with wholesale pickup for what is in the case. Show up early if a particular scone matters to you, because the case empties faster than a casual visitor expects, and the staff is not in the business of holding pastries back for the polite second-arrival.

The coffee side is built for the beach crowd. Coconut cold brew is the warm-weather standard and the named summer drink. A drink called the Summer Smash gets ordered for what it sounds like and delivers on the name.
