Innkeeper's Fresh Roasted Coffee

Innkeeper's Fresh Roasted Coffee is a family-owned roastery and café in historic downtown Galesburg. The interior is warm and artsy, with marble tables and unusual light fixtures, and there's outdoor seating and a drive-through window.

They roast single origins, blends and flavored coffees. The Brazilian on Chemex is a favorite, the espresso drinks are good, and the roasts run from bright light to bold dark. The pastries are house-made: Danish, cinnamon twists and truffles. Breakfast and lunch are served until 2pm, with favorites like the breakfast wrap and the bacon smoked gouda croissant.

There's free wifi, except during the 11am–2pm lunch rush. You can buy beans whole or ground to order, along with decaf, loose-leaf teas like Japanese Sencha and brewing gear. It's a handy stop if you're coming through on Amtrak.
