About

Veteran-owned, family-run, named baristas (Fred, Chanell, Sierra) showing up in review after review. Iron Bean roasts in small batches at its Perrysburg location and ships subscriptions and K-pods to whoever orders them online from anywhere in the country. The Ride or Die blend is the five-year customer favorite, the kind of bag that customers set up on auto-ship and stop thinking about for years.

Flavored offerings carry weight here too. Butter Pecan. Vanilla Hazelnut. A Buckeye blend that nods to the Ohio location. A Blueberry whole bean for the customers who want fruit-forward and flavored at once without going full coffee-shop-syrup. The Fierce K-pods exist for the office Keurig crowd, which is a market most small roasters either ignore or pretend they do not serve. Iron Bean does not pretend. The pods sit on the same retail wall as the whole bean, with the same level of attention to what goes into them.

Branded mugs and merch round out the retail side, and the family-business feel runs through everything from the packaging to the way Fred and Chanell answer messages from customers ordering subscriptions. That is the proposition. Small roaster, small batches, real names behind the operation, and the kind of consistency that comes from people who own what they put their name on and answer the phone themselves when something goes sideways with a shipment.

The Ride or Die name is doing double work. It is the blend that built the customer base, and it is the kind of name a veteran-owned small business gives the product they trust people to come back to. Five years of repeat customers is the evidence.

This is not a sit-and-stay cafe. It is a roastery built for home brewers, K-cup users, and customers who want to support a small business that will ship them coffee on a schedule. The Perrysburg storefront is the place to pick up beans in person if you live nearby. The operation is built for the box on your porch, the K-pod machine in the office break room, and the bag of Butter Pecan that someone in Texas ordered because their cousin in Ohio told them about it.
