Jamnbean Coffee Company

Jamnbean Coffee Company is near the Thornapple River park in Grand Rapids and turns into an ice cream shop in the afternoon. Owner Doug also caters and runs a coffee truck for markets and weddings. You order through the ice cream window. Inside tables are small, and the shady patio and upper area are the best seats. Wifi isn't reliable.

They roast their own, make maple syrup and use Michigan honey. Try the hot coffee with dark chocolate and natural peanut butter. Penitent Man is the dark roast, Farmhouse is the everyday and there's Sumatra. Get pistachio ice cream or a muffin. Tuesdays are double punch.
