Jaunt Coffee Roasters is in a Miramar business park in San Diego. It has high ceilings, skylights, lots of plants and warm wood, with tables inside and a covered, dog-friendly patio. Weekend mornings can bring a line, but it moves.
They roast small batches to order on-site, and new roasts come out 24 to 48 hours after roasting. Try the Black Salt Caramel Latte or Rose Cardamom Latte. The empanadas often sell out, especially mushroom and goat cheese and beef. There are chai scones, pandan croissants, cruffins, breakfast burritos and açaí bowls. They ship nationwide and offer subscriptions.
