Java Momma Shop

Java Momma Shop is a small, single-room roastery on Ferry Street in Danville that's been open about four years. Heather roasts small batches in-house and is happy to tell you how the shop got started. It smells like fresh coffee the moment you walk in. It's also a UPS and FedEx drop point.

The menu leans toward flavored coffee. Their site says there are more than 50 flavors, along with single origins and decafs, and you can pick your blend, size and grind. Raspberry coffee is a favorite, and nitro cold brew is there if you'd rather skip the flavors. For take-home beans, try Momma's Original. Lemon cheesecake is the bakery pick. Cups are biodegradable.
