JBird Supply Coffee Roaster

JBird Supply roasts specialty coffee in Charlottesville. Their site says it's open seven days a week at IX Art Park, with stands at several weekly farmers markets around the region. They recently moved into a bigger, warehouse-style space that's bright and airy, with lots of seating, music, a co-working area and conference rooms. It gets busy.

Pastries come from Florosa Bakery, including vegan options. The croissant is the buttery pick, and the coconut bun is something different. The staff will walk you through flavor profiles and grind beans to order. They also offer a subscription.

The big parking lot makes it easy for remote workers and meetings. Off-peak hours are best if you want a quieter corner.
