Kribi Coffee Air Roastery

Kribi Coffee Air Roastery in Forest Park air-roasts small batches to order, and their site says the coffee's never bitter. You can watch the roasting behind the barista station. They have cafés in Oak Park and Forest Park. Mount Oku, a single origin from Cameroon, is their signature, and the Hyperslap espresso is another favorite. Beans also come from Colombia, Costa Rica and Ethiopia.

The Forest Park café has two floors. Upstairs is open and social, and downstairs has couches and quieter nooks. There's free wifi and outlets, though the connection can slow at peak times.

Bagels come from The Onion Roll and weekend donuts from Do-Rite, and they make their own avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches, including vegan ones. The monthly drink specials, especially the chai ones, are popular. You can buy bags and cold brew growlers, and they offer subscriptions.
