Lakota Coffee Company is a family business that's been in downtown Columbia for over 30 years. It feels like a cabin, with armchairs, wood tables, window seats and a patio. A San Franciscan roaster runs on-site. Downtown parking can be tight.

The house blend is chocolatey, and single origins rotate. Try an espresso drink, a coffee shake or a seasonal special like the Valentine's lavender Cubano. Beans are sold in the shop and online.
