Eric Medina runs Libra out of a small Oceanside roastery where you can watch the beans roast while you wait. That is the visit, more or less. There is no full barista bar every day. The shop also shows up at farmers markets, which is another way to catch the lineup without making the drive into the industrial side of town. Eric will walk a customer through the process if asked, and that owner-led education is a quiet specialty of the operation.

Small-batch single origins are the focus. The Kenya espresso gets ordered repeatedly and is the steady recommendation for anyone new to the lineup. The Bingo blend has a mixed track record by subscription; one customer found it underwhelming, which is worth knowing if you are ordering blind. Cold brew and pour over fill out the menu when service is open. Libra also makes a portable pour-over device called the POURtable, which sells alongside the beans and turns up in the gear conversations the owner has with customers.
