Magnolia Coffee Company is an online and wholesale roaster at an industrial address in Matthews. There's no café. Orders in Charlotte can arrive about 28 hours after roasting, shipping is free over $40, and small bags are sold at Whole Foods. They source direct trade and give back.

There are plenty of choices. The Anaerobic Worka Sakaro Ethiopian, Brazilian Blue Cherry and rotating Guatemalas are popular. Bali Blue Moon is lower in acid. Blends include Lila's Rain, Josh Daniel's Grateful Blend, Cashmere and the Poinsettia holiday blend, and Dreamlands and Jade lean espresso. They also sell five-pound bags.
