About

Pueblo locals tired of paying Starbucks prices for Starbucks coffee have a better option on Santa Fe Drive. Mane Brew roasts its own beans, bakes its own pastries, and runs a mobile trailer that has worked office events of around fifty people. The shop itself is small and family-feeling, the kind of counter where service is fast because the people behind it want you to have a good morning. Bring your own cup and they take something off the price.

The drink that gets mentioned most is the iced breve, which one regular called the best in Pueblo and meant it. After that the dirty chai with cinnamon, hot or iced. The caramel macchiato finished with vanilla sweet cream cold foam is the order for anyone who walks in unsure. Bags of locally roasted whole bean are stocked to take home, and they hold up against most of what you would find driving an hour north up I-25. The in-house pastry program means whatever is in the case that morning was made there, not delivered.

The shop also works as a remote-work spot. One customer worked there several days running and had no complaints about the WiFi, which is more than you can say about a lot of small-town cafes that promise the same thing. That, plus the trailer service for offsite events, makes Mane Brew unusually flexible for the size of the operation. The story is straightforward: a couple of people decided Pueblo deserved better coffee at a friendlier price, built a roastery, added a mobile arm for events, and have been quietly proving the point on Santa Fe Drive ever since. For an independently owned spot in a town this size, having the iced breve, the WiFi, and the trailer all at once is not a small accomplishment.
