Manzanita Roasting Company and Coffee House

Manzanita Roasting Company is a husband-and-wife San Diego roaster on the Bernardo Winery grounds, with another café in downtown Escondido. The shop is small and rustic, with murals of old prospectors, a few tables and a patio by the vines. It opens at 9am. Dogs, including emotional support animals, aren't allowed on the winery grounds.

They roast small-lot coffee and do wholesale. Try the brown butter latte or a turmeric ginger latte with oat milk. Almond croissants come from an Escondido bakery, and there's avocado toast. They offer subscriptions.
