Matter of Taste Coffee Roaster

Matter of Taste describes itself as Kitchener's original coffee retailer and roaster. It was founded in 2004 in a formerly abandoned store in downtown Kitchener.

It roasts its own coffee and also partners with other master roasters to round out its specialty offerings. Over the years it added espresso bar catering for events and started a wholesale roasting partnership, Hacienda Roasting Company. Coffee is sold at the cafe and online.
