Mayorga Coffee

Mayorga Coffee's Gude Drive building in Rockville is a Latino-owned roasting facility. The retail counter closed at the end of 2023, and online orders are now picked up from lockers outside. You can still watch the roasting through a big glass wall when you stop by. Their site says the coffee's organic, small-batch and sourced with partner farms in Latin America.

The Cubano Roast is their signature. Espresso Suave is a gentler option, Muy Macho is on the dark end, and Dolce du Leche has a following. There's also cascara tea, made from the coffee cherry husk. You'll find the beans at Costco too.

The easiest way to buy is to order on their website, either one-off or as a subscription, and pick up from the lockers.
