About

If you've eaten breakfast at the Red Coach Inn near Niagara Falls or stopped at The Spot Restaurant in Sidney, Ohio, you've already had McCullagh Coffee without knowing it. That's the McCullagh story in miniature: a Buffalo wholesale and institutional roaster whose name people only learn by tracing the cup back to its source on Swan Street. Out-of-state travelers have done exactly that, walking up to the counter to buy the Sultana Blend they kept ordering at the hotel.

The Sultana is the calling card. The Holiday Blend earns repeat orders for its smooth profile, and the Sticky Bun flavored coffee draws people who want their morning dessert in a mug. The red bag of 100% Arabica is the everyday workhorse, and K-cups exist for the office crowd. None of this is third-wave theater. It's commercial-grade Buffalo coffee built to fill cups by the hundred, sold honestly at retail to anyone willing to find the door.

What sets the operation apart is the customer service, which leans old-school in the best way. When a UPS shipment went missing, McCullagh replaced it. When K-cups arrived unsealed, they fixed that too.

This is a stop for wholesale buyers, restaurant accounts, and home customers ordering bagged coffee or K-cups. It is not a cafe destination, with no seating and no curated single-origin program to browse. One winter visitor flagged unshoveled sidewalks at the Swan Street entrance, which tells you the priorities: the trucks roll out, the wholesale orders go out, and the walk-in counter is a courtesy more than a centerpiece.
