Medleno Coffee Shop & Roastery is a small, family-owned coffee spot in downtown Danville, run by Ida and her family. There's a tiny order counter, no indoor seating and a few outdoor tables, so it's mostly takeout. Cyclists often stop mid-ride.
They roast East African and Kenyan beans, like Harrar, Sidamo, Yirgacheffe and Kenyan AA, for about $16 to $21 a pound, and they'll do custom roasts on request. Drinks include a caramel latte with plant milk, oat latte, drip, pour-over and Turkish coffee. There are fresh bagels too.
