Mongo's Coffee Roastery & Lounge

Mongo's Coffee Roastery & Lounge is a micro-roaster in Syosset, open to the public and the trade. It's an industrial space with high ceilings and the big roaster in view. There are couches, communal work tables with outlets and café tables. There's free wifi, and you can usually find a seat.

The roasts range from bold espresso blends to lighter single origins. The cold brew is smooth and chocolatey. There are lattes and pour-overs. Pastries are house-made, and there's a short breakfast and lunch menu. The avocado toast is a favorite. Beans are sold by the bag.
