Mother's Kitchen

Mother's Kitchen is an environmentally conscious coffee bar and sandwich shop in Bar Harbor. There's no indoor seating. Instead, you'll find a garden with shaded picnic tables, flowers and yard games like cornhole.

The nitro maple oat latte is a favorite, and they make their own cinnamon syrup. The espresso is well made. The breakfast sandwiches are a big draw, especially the meatloaf one. At lunch there are sandwiches made with fresh ingredients, with choices for meat-eaters and vegetarians.

It works for a quick morning coffee or a relaxed lunch outdoors.
