Mukilteo Coffee Roasters & Mercantile

Mukilteo Coffee Roasters & Mercantile is in the woods on South Whidbey Island, a few minutes from Clinton and Langley, near a small airfield. They slow-roast directly sourced coffee on vintage roasters. Inside, the ordering area is small. Out back, there's a garden patio under old-growth trees, and dogs are welcome.

Happy Hippie is the blend to take home, and it ships widely. There are organic and fair trade beans, and the lavender matcha is a favorite. The attached eatery is now Sea Biscuit Bakery, with breakfast burritos, pancakes and a breakfast sandwich pastry. Plan a relaxed visit and sit under the trees.
