New Heights Coffee Roasters is on Studewood in the Houston Heights. It's small and clean, with wifi and a shaded, quiet back patio. Parking is tight. Jamie, Angie, Victoria, Nelly and Tory are behind the bar.

They roast to order, and local restaurants serve their coffee. Buy a bag, like The Boulevard or The Neighborhood, and get a free classic drink. Specialty drinks rotate, like the Chantilly Cream, the Red Herring, a Granny Smith matcha latte and a rosemary-bacon drink. The decaf espresso is good. They offer subscriptions.
