OB Beans Coffee Roasters

OB Beans Coffee Roasters is on Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach. It's modern and relaxed, with tables, high-tops for working, outdoor seating to watch the street and a small back patio. Dogs are welcome, and it's a few minutes from the beach.

They roast in-house. The cortados and lattes are the favorites, with nice latte art, and drip coffee starts at $3. There are pour-overs too. If you're buying beans to take home, ask about the Ethiopian Gesha.

There's wifi and outlets, though seats fill up at peak times. Lots of regulars know the baristas, and people stop in on their way to the beach or straight from the surf.
