Ocean Beach Roasters

Ocean Beach Roasters (OBR) in Ocean Shores has a cabin feel, with a fireplace and seating downstairs and up. They roast in-house. Ethiopian, Brazilian and Peruvian coffees are in the lineup, and Brodey's Dark Roast is the bag customers buy most.

The kitchen does breakfast and lunch, and the Eggs Benedict is the dish people talk about. Biscuits and gravy and country hash are regular orders. At lunch there's a Reuben with thick-cut pastrami and salads with house-made dressings. Everything in the pastry case is made in-house, and the brownies are dense and chewy.

You order at the counter. The upstairs is good for laptops, with free wifi, and the patio's dog-friendly. It can get busy at peak times, so get there early in high season if you want a table.
