Paloma Coffee & Bakery is a small corner shop on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, with plants in the window and sidewalk seating. Indoor seats are few and fill quickly, and there's no wifi, so it's mostly a grab-and-go stop.

The pastries are the main draw: lemon bars, pain aux raisins and scones with a great crumb. The single-origin espresso is worth having straight. Take it to the sidewalk or on a walk down Manhattan Avenue.
