Papachay Peruvian Coffee

Papachay Peruvian Coffee is Max and Julianna's tiny shop on Old County Road in San Carlos. The coffee comes from their own farm in Villa Rica, Peru, and they roast it in small batches in back. You order at a window, and there's a small patio. They're closed one day a week for the Mountain View Farmers Market.

The peaberry is the one to try. The cappuccino and mocha are everyday picks, and espresso beans are sold by the bag. The beef or vegan empanadas and cheese bread are favorites.
