Paradigm Spark

Paradigm Spark is a Calgary coffee project produced by David Kim. It roasts, brews, competes and trains, with the stated aim of expanding the role of the barista through collaboration and research.

Its experiments include work on espresso texture, such as reducing the fines that pass through the filter basket. The Paradigm Spark cafe serves its coffee, and the online shop sells beans, gear and curated home cafe kits, with subscriptions and wholesale available.
