Parkville Coffee

Parkville Coffee is a small-batch roastery and café in an old building in historic downtown Parkville. The coffee bar and some tables are downstairs. Upstairs there's a lounge with overstuffed chairs, local art, board games and a 1950s feel, complete with rotary phones and a black-and-white TV. It's popular with book clubs and small meetings.

They roast in-house. Look out for the eggnog latte around the holidays. The cold brew's popular enough that they sell it bottled to take home. On the food side, the bacon croissant is the favorite, and there's quiche made with local ingredients, protein balls and sandwiches on artisan bread.

English Landing Park and the river are just a few steps away, and lots of people take their drinks there for a walk. Their site says you can also order from them online.
