Phoenix Coffee has been roasting in Cleveland since 1990. The Lee Road shop in Cleveland Heights is hip and cozy, with chairs, thick slab tables, outlets at corner tables, free wifi and sidewalk seats. There's original art, a bookcase and plants for sale. It stays quiet even when it's busy.
Phoenix Blackbird is a silky dark roast and a regulars' favorite. The lattes and cortados come with nice latte art. Their espresso roast is popular for home. They also offer local bike delivery.
