This PJ's Coffee of New Orleans is at 402 Hwy 30 in Gonzales, near the Tanger outlet exit off I-10. There's a drive-thru and an indoor dining room with warm red tones and comfy seats. It's family-friendly, and students study here.

The King Cake Velvet Ice is the seasonal favorite, and the Pecan Velvet Ice is close behind. The beignets are a highlight. There's a praline latte with oat milk, an XL frozen hot chocolate with espresso and a bacon biscuit.
