Poetic Republic Coffee Roasters

Poetic Republic Coffee Roasters is in a Victorian-style house in San Antonio's Southtown. Poetry is on the walls, including Spanish verses. It's bright, with mostly two-tops, a few bigger tables and outlets. They host poetry nights, writing workshops and unplugged nights with cards and lotería. Parking is on the street or in a nearby lot.

They roast in-house. The drip is good. Try the Brown Sugar Cortado, the Down to Earth Cappuccino with cinnamon and honey, or matcha lavender. Pastries are baked daily, like almond croissants and banana bread.
