Project Coffee

Project Coffee is a café and roaster with two locations in downtown Sarasota. It's bright and minimal, with hanging plants, big windows and seating inside and out. The whole menu is vegan, with all-day breakfast, an in-house bakery, cold-pressed juice and ceremonial-grade matcha.

The matcha is a big draw, and the ube matcha is a local favorite. The dirty chai has a nice balance of spice and sweetness. Espresso drinks are pulled on a La Marzocco, and the lattes are the regular order. For food, there are house-made biscuit sandwiches, avocado toast and breakfast burritos.

The music's on the louder side, so it's better for meeting up than for focused work. It gets busy at peak times.
