Proud Mary Cafe

Proud Mary Cafe is the Portland café of Proud Mary Coffee, which roasts specialty coffee, including Geisha, in Portland. It's modern and bright, and it gets busy, especially at weekend brunch, so come early.

Pour-overs come with tasting cards, and you can smell the grounds before they brew. There's espresso and rare single origins too. The ricotta hotcakes with seasonal fruit and honeycomb are the signature, and the potato hash with pork belly and house green hot sauce is a favorite. Beans are sold in the café and online, with subscriptions.
