Rapport Coffee Roasters - Laguna Beach

Rapport Coffee Roasters' Laguna Beach shop is their second location, and it's about five times the size of the original in San Clemente. It's calm and clean, with jazz on the playlist, plenty of tables and free parking, so it works for a long morning with a laptop. Dogs are welcome.

They roast in-house. On pour-over, a washed Ethiopian and a Colombian rotate through. The cortado is a solid milk-drink pick, and the cinnamon miel cappuccino is the house favorite. The espresso tonic comes in a martini glass. Pastries come from a local French bakery, including croffles, a cinnamon croissant and a pistachio danish.

It's a good coffee stop after a walk by the beach.
