Raxakoul Coffee & Cheese

Raxakoul Coffee & Cheese on Hopkins in Berkeley is a packed specialty shop rather than a sit-down café. It's stocked floor to ceiling with chocolate bars, loose-leaf tea in glass jars, cheese, Vietnamese coffee, boba and locally roasted whole beans. One visiting chocolate buyer called it the best chocolate selection in the Bay Area.

Get a boba or a Vietnamese coffee to go, and take chocolate and tea home. The cheese counter's smaller, but there's enough for a cheese board. It's a good one-stop shop if your household drinks both coffee and tea. There isn't really seating, so plan to browse and go.
