Red Bay Coffee Roastery is near Fruitvale BART in Oakland. Red Bay is Black-owned, founded in 2014 by Keba Konte, with five Bay Area cafés. The converted warehouse has a plant map of Africa, a lounge area and an outdoor garden with fish ponds by the tracks. They roast in view. There are sometimes DJ sets and food pop-ups.
The Ethiopians and the charcoal latte are favorites. King's Prize and Carver's Dream are popular bags. They ship, with subscriptions.
