Rivertime Outdoors/It's Not The Coffee

Rivertime Outdoors is a riverfront picnic and event space at 7219 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy in Townsend, and its coffee runs under the name It's Not The Coffee. Owner Chuck and his family host picnics, gender reveals and family get-togethers on the property.

You can rent picnic tables, grills and fire pits by the day. There's a little beach where the water meets the rocks, and photographers love that spot. The bathrooms are clean, and if you forgot something, there's event gear for sale on-site.

It's set up as an outdoor venue first, with coffee on the side. It's a good fit for families and groups planning a day by the river.
