Sames & Cook

Sames & Cook is in a converted hardware store on South Main in Mt Gilead, under new owners since summer 2024. It's full of antiques, with tables among them, and there's high-speed internet. Busy mornings can be slow, so it's best for an unhurried brunch.

The double espresso comes on china. For food, try the spinach quiche, Reuben hand pies, made-to-order omelets, a Cuban sandwich or an oatmeal cookie. Vegetarian and vegan options rotate.
