San Marco Coffee

San Marco Coffee is a tiny shop on North Glenoaks in Burbank, with three stools inside and a couple of small tables outside. The husband-and-wife owners roast on a red roaster every weekend. They've been a local favorite for years, and by your third visit they'll probably remember your name and order.

The menu's short. The dirty chai is the one people mention by name. There's black drip, a vanilla latte you can make as sweet as you like, and an iced caramel drink for warm afternoons.

It's a quick-coffee spot rather than a place for groups or laptops. There's plenty of parking in the lot, and the shop's easy to miss from the street.
