Shenandoah Joe Coffee Roasters was established as a small-batch roaster in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1993. It roasts by hand on a 25 lb San Franciscan roaster at its roastery on Preston Avenue.
All coffee is roasted to order for wholesale customers and its espresso bars, including a second location on Ivy Road. Some of its coffees are certified Organic, Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance.
