Shortwave Coffee is a women-led roaster down an alley and underground in Columbia. It's dim, with booths, big tables, fast wifi and lots of outlets. Waits can be long when they're short-staffed, especially mornings.

Five by Five is the house blend. Try a lavender latte, cold brew, macchiato or iced caramel latte. Syrups are house-made. Subscriptions include free local delivery.
