Bubba bagels round out the morning menu, and they earn the morning slot they get.

The room itself is warm. Cozy seating inside, comfortable patio chairs out in the sun, and enough space to meet friends without crowding the next table. One customer described it as spacious enough for meeting friends and that read tracks. WiFi is available, so people post up with laptops, and the new owners seem to want that crowd to stay. The shop functions as a daytime hub for the neighborhood, even with the management questions hovering.

One flag worth raising. A service-dog owner was previously denied entry. Whether that policy has changed under new management is unclear, but anyone bringing a service dog should ask first to avoid an awkward door. If you're driving through Grass Valley and want a sit-down breakfast burrito and a competent oat milk cortado, it still earns the stop. Just temper expectations if a regular told you it used to be better. They mean it.
