Simpatico Coffee Joint is a Holland roastery near the medical district. They roast low-acid, organic, fair trade Mexican shade-grown coffee and supply lakeshore cafés. Their beans are in gourmet markets, and a coffee truck goes to weekend farmers markets. The café is quiet and clean, with limited seating and slow wifi, so it's better for conversation. Free Shot Friday is a long-running perk.

The Honey Bee Latte has lavender and honey. There's organic chai, a Minty Mocha in half-caf or decaf and nitro cold brew with coconut. There's a vegan ginger molasses cookie and baked oatmeal. They ship nationwide.
