Sissiboo Coffee Roaster

Sissiboo Coffee Roaster is in Bear River, Nova Scotia, in a historic building on the main street beside Harris Brook. Jon Welch founded it after fifteen years of tree planting in Western Canada brought him back to his native province.

Sissiboo roasts fair trade organic coffee and pairs it with support for the visual arts. It's named after the Sissiboo River, a tidal river in southwest Nova Scotia. Sissiboo sells online, supplies wholesale accounts, runs fundraising programs, and is building a new roasting facility.
