Sonder Coffee

Sonder Coffee is in Wendell Falls. It's sleek and family-friendly, and it gets busy, with lines and limited seating at peak times. A bigger second location is on the way. NC State students often make the drive.

The blueberry latte is the signature, and all the syrups are homemade. The lemon meringue latte is the second favorite. There's a cinnamon butter latte in fall, a banana bread latte and a cookie dough iced coffee. The coffee flight lets you try several at once. There's a smoothie bowl for breakfast and mimosas on weekends. They're careful about dairy allergies.
