Special Grounds Coffee

Special Grounds Coffee is a coffee shop and roastery in a renovated church in Wauseon, with the café in the old sanctuary. It provides vocational training for students and people with disabilities, and it supports local 4-H. It's calm, with high ceilings, spaced-out tables, a living room corner, outlets and free wifi. It's great for long work sessions.

Beans are roasted and ground on-site. The butter pecan and cookie butter coffees are favorites. Food is made in-house, like scones, oatmeal cream pies, tarts, cookies and a roast beef sandwich, and the case often sells out by mid-afternoon.
