Steady State Roasting

Steady State Roasting is in Carlsbad. Owner Elliot sources specialty beans and roasts them light on an Ambex. It's airy and minimal, with hanging plants, tables, bar seats and outdoor seating that expands into the lot on weekends.

Single-origin pour-overs are the focus. Espresso comes off a lever Astoria Rapallo. Try the Honey Please latte with honey and fresh cinnamon, or the pancake syrup latte. Beans are sold in the shop and online.
