Steve's Coffee Roaster

Steve's Coffee Roaster is a neighborhood coffee shop and roastery in Sherman Oaks, California, established in 1987 by Richard Healy. Its original Diedrich 12-kilo roaster is the centerpiece of the shop and roasts green coffee every morning.

Roasting is fully manual and done in small batches, with roasters relying on smell, sight and sound. Most of what it sells is organic, and its house blend mixes Indonesian, African and South American beans. The shop serves espresso, cold brew, teas and pastries, and whole beans are sold in store and online.
