The kunafa is fresh-made, the Turkish coffee comes the right way, and the pistachio-chocolate baklava layers something closer to a dessert restaurant than a cafe. Sultan Nut House started as a Plantation, Florida shop selling Turkish nuts, dates, olive oils, chocolates, and tea sets, and the cafe grew up around the retail. Walk in and the layout makes that history obvious: tea-set displays, Turkish delights in cases, Ottoman-style couch seating arranged around the room, and the quiet of a place that one customer described as stepping into Istanbul.
One wish: a little light background music would lift the room. As-is, the quiet is striking.
Order the fresh kunafa, both the sweet and the savory if you have not had savory before. The crunchy version is worth knowing about. Pistachio-chocolate baklava is the headline pastry. The cold pistachio cappuccino is the drink that surprises first-time visitors, and the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is the Instagram order that turns out to be good in person too. Strawberry-banana-Nutella crepes, Oreo-Nutella milkshakes, and a wall of Turkish delights for the take-home stop round out the menu.
The parking lot is under construction. Account for that on the way in.
The other thing to know: do not arrive close to closing. Multiple customers describe being rushed out before they finished, which is a real flaw and worth planning around if you want time to sit on the couches. Come earlier in the evening, give yourself an hour, and order more than you think you need.
Walk out with a bag of nuts or olive oil from the retail side, a box of Turkish delights for whoever you live with, and the sense that the cafe and the store are part of the same operation. The right visit treats them that way. Skip the rush, and the Ottoman couches reward the customer who came in with time to spend on them.
