Sultan Nut House | Nuts, Coffee, Chocolates, & More

Sultan Nut House in Plantation started as a shop for Turkish nuts, dates, olive oils, chocolates and tea sets, and a café grew up around it. Inside there are tea-set displays, Turkish delight in the cases and Ottoman-style couches. One customer said it feels like stepping into Istanbul. It's quiet.

Get the fresh kunafa. Try the savory version if you haven't. The pistachio-chocolate baklava is the headline pastry. The cold pistachio cappuccino surprises a lot of first-timers, and the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is popular. There are also Turkish coffee, crêpes and Oreo-Nutella milkshakes.

Give yourself time to enjoy it, ideally earlier in the evening rather than right before closing. On the way out, grab nuts, olive oil or a box of Turkish delight from the shop. The parking lot is under construction.
