Sweet & Simple Coffee & Sweet Shop

Sweet & Simple is a cupcake shop that serves coffee, on a corner in historic Morgan City across from Lawrence Park. The Italian cream and red velvet cupcakes are the favorites, and the wedding cake cupcake has fans too. They make custom wedding and groom's cakes, and the cinnamon rolls usually sell out by lunch.

For coffee, the vanilla iced latte is the standard, and the iced coffee with specialty milk is sweeter and creamier. Inside, there are a few counter stools and a couple of tables. Out front there's one small table, where dogs are welcome and pup cupcakes are on offer. There's sometimes live music on a little stage in back. There's no wifi.
